If you shout something loud enough and many people are saying it, does it become true? Some groups of people (include tech journalists and Linux advocates, such as Steven J. Vaughn-Nichols) have a psychological need to find Vista lacking. Mr. V-N has predicted that Vista will have all manner of problems, so his clear interest is to point out everything that is wrong with the OS. Who cares if he has to even make some stuff up? |

| Wow, it is amazing how defensive you are being about Vista. If Vista can take the heat, then it will and everyone will have to look at their shoes and whine about something else. If it doesn't cut it, then the comments will have been correct. Also, one must remember hoe quickly Microsoft points out the flaws in Mac OS and Linux distributions in general. I would say to you that since this is how the game is placed, you should not worry about it. |

Uh, what are you talking about? The article is spot on, in my opinion. The real question--as the author correctly points out--is why is SJVN so over-the-top on the attack about Vista? If "Vista can take the heat," then why don't you ask the same thing of him? |
