  Nine Updates for Windows Vista

This week, Microsoft released some "important" updates that probably won't come to Windows Update.

Here's the shakedown:

Update for Windows Vista (KB931836)
February 2007 cumulative time zone update for Microsoft Windows operating systems

Update for Windows Vista (KB932406)
The Windows desktop may stop updating correctly after a Windows Vista-based computer has been running for an extended period of time

June 2007 Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows Vista

Update for Windows Vista (KB937077)
A high definition audio device may no longer work after you resume Windows Vista from hibernation or from sleep

Update for Windows Vista (KB937123)
When running Windows Vista, the 802.1X network authentication times out, fails and network connectivity can not be established.

This morning i noticed that i received 3 updates via Windows Update on my Vista Machine at home.
One was het cumulative update for Media Center, the other one was a .NET framework update and i also received a KB???? update. So some updates from this list were sent via Windows Update.

Windows Vista Home Premium:
KB931836 (time zone), KB935652 (media center) and KB932471 (.NET Framework 3.0 update), received yesterday via Windows Update

Three of the above were automatically downloaded. However, I had minor issues that two other updates, listed above, address that were not automatically downloaded. This indicates how little use, to an individual machine, the current Vista error reporting system currently is. Downloads that address a problem that was already reported from an individual machine, and no resolution was available at that time, should be automatically downloaded also since Vista keeps track of unresolved issues on the PC.

I got 4 of them. The one's above, and a defender update.

I tried to check for Ultimate Extra's, but the door was stuck. I'll need to oil the hinges. Non-use tends to cause things to get rusty...
