JR Raphael: Microsoft is trying to sweeten the deal in its bribery -- er, sorry, promotion -- to get you to use its Live.com search engine. The company has just announced plans to make its Cashback program even more instant. Am I the only one getting tired of this?

Tired of it? Hell, I have over $600 in my cashback account already. These are dollars that I'm getting back... that others (likely amazon) would have gotten. I've been wearing out ebay and the 30% savings...

Memo to Google: Enough With The Google Bar - talk about annoying crap . . .
Microsoft is putting money in your pocket to use their search engine. Meanwhile, the dipsticks over at Google are tying their search engine Google Bar to every free software they can like Adobe Reader, etc. Am I the only one getting tired of this?

Evidently JR Raphael makes enough money from his blog that he doesn't need any more money in his pocket. Interesting...

This story is a major yawn. I thought they were going to dig into the real dirt, like the MS-Nigeria bribery scandal. You know, *real* bribery. Well, it's interesting to see how many people will accept sub-optimal search results to get a little coin in their pocket.

#5: Good to see you've got your career path all mapped out. I'm still shaking my head about how MS has to pay people to use its services. The funny part is that the only people who use Live Search are die-hard microbots, noobs and freebie people. When did they last send you a cheque? Or are these BillG Bucks only redeemable at the Microsoft store?

This isn't bribery... it's desperation... it's the last desperate act of someone with more money than sense that absolutely needs you to use their sh*tty search engine... prior to renaming it and going through the process all over again.
At least Microsoft is giving their most loyal supporters some money back - this is your chance to get your money back for Vista!

"Or are these BillG Bucks only redeemable at the Microsoft store? "
They give the option to either credit your paypal account, or cut you a check and mail it to you.
But you believe whatever you want.
