  Microsoft mulls response to Linux-based XP clone

Chinese software scammers have for years been creating and selling pirated copies of the Microsoft operating system. And recently, the Redmond-based company has been cracking down on piracy in China.

The solution? Make Windows XP out of Linux.

And Microsoft isn't sure what to do about it.

Ylmf OS, clearly labeled as such, resembles Windows XP in appearance and functionality. That is about it. The picture with the green Start button actually is Windows XP, not Ylmf OS. This makes the article about the XP themed Linux OS misleading in that it implies that Ylmf looks exactly like XP in every detail, which it does not.
