He is a full time IT student and the computer we are currently using is pieced together from various outdated computers that were either given to him for parts or he found by dumpsters that had parts or wires he could salvage. He needs this so he can have a up to date computer to use for studying with since they are teaching him all the newest tech info it would make sense for him to at least have one thing that is a new tech device. With him in school and with 2 kids we just dont have the money to buy a new computer. He loves to go to Best Buy and look at all the new computers and devices that are out and fantasize about them , but that is all they can be right now is a fantasy. We will be celebrating our anniversary at the end of July and I could not think of a better gift for me to give him than a new computer to start out the Fall semester with to show him my appreciation for him and to show him how proud we are of him. |

I would love for a chance to win this setup as then I can give my aging pc to my son and enjoy the 2 monitor setup and modern computer for myself. I work from home often, so it sure would be nice to be more productive with 2 screens rather than one! With the increased speed, I'm sure my productivity will increase as well. And my kid will be happy to have a computer all to himself...though of course with some major parental control settings! ;)

It would be nice to have a pc that has hardware virtualization and more than one processor for the virtual computers that we have to run for our schoolwork. | I'd love to be able to work at home, but my old computer and lovely 17" LCD monitor is very restrictive. I'm spoiled at work with a dual-screen setup so I commute in every day. Having this rig at home would allow me to commute less and spend more time with the family. That and MW2 would totally rock. Daddy can't work all the time. I think my son might just be ready to start training in the grand arts of gaming. I have to admit I was shocked when you mentioned that it came with PS/2 ports, seriously? And to think I just donated my old PS/2 keyboard and mouse three years ago. I should have held onto them. |

I spend way too much time dealing with issues and conflicts due to the age of the machines and the slow response time that they have. I would love to replace my old clunker. It's basically capable of writing emails and that's about it. This was fine for several years because I live in Amish country and only had dial up available to me. I couldn't play games, download music or movies, so I was OK with it's limited capabilities. Well, 6 months ago they brought DSL out to my area and a whole new world has opened - but I've only gotten a small glimpse of it because my PC just can't handle the awesomeness. I should win because I don' thave a desktop computer - I'm writing this comment from a small 12" netbook. Sure, it's convenient to take with me on the road, but really limiting, but the screen size is really small. In fact I have trouble surfing more graphic intensive sites and sometimes they just plain don't work for a screen this size. I saw the double screen on the Dual ThinkVision 22" L2250p Monitors and thought- wow, now THAT would be a great change. I also like the fact that it's GREENGUARD certified. Every little bit that helps the environment makes a difference, and Levono has taken the initiative here. Not mention that it's so much faster than my little netbook! If I won I could use my current computer for the road, but be able to stop squinting and work in style from home. |

Why would I like to win? Well, my wife totalled our Suburban 4 days before vacation, and we had to pack both of us and our 3 children into a Toyota Corolla for a Delaware-Florida trip. Talk about cramped. Now we have to buy another vehicle, which means any potential upgrade is well into the future for me at this point. Also, as a computer security & compliance officer for my company, I like to keep my Twitter followers and Facebook friends up to date on security issues, threats, and the like, and a nice new system would make doing that much more pleasant! |

Hi there. I really need this computer to help make my life as a college student easier. Right now I am using a desktop that I bought eight years ago because my newest one was stolen while I was walking back to my apartment one night. Unfortunately, I can afford a new one because money is very tight for me right now. So I have no choice but to use an old system that lags after one hour of use. This is driving me a bit crazy. To make sure that I don't go crazy, I prefer to use the computer at the school library. That means a lot of the time, I have to stay overnight at the library to finish my projects. So as you can see, winning this computer would be a godsend to me. |

I'm soon moving to New York, to begin a PhD program in Biomedical Sciences. I'm also getting married, and that means two people in a small, small space (it's going to be wonderful, but certainly cramped). Neither of us owns a desktop computer at the moment, instead we have rapidly aging laptops. With a solid, powerful, quiet desktop like this one, and two new iPads (on the wedding registry, fingers crossed) we'd be absolutely set to be connected at school, and have a powerful machine for more computer-intensive tasks (and Hulu watching, on those massive screens). This computer would make an already exciting couple of months exponentially more awesome! |

I don't know, I think I would just go crazy with the dual monitor. I've never seen something this amazing before. My computer is fairly old as well and I do enjoy watching videos with my monitor. |

She has worked very hard throughout her life yet something bad always happens to her. Just three years ago, her life took a major turn when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Yet she still had to work despite her illness because our savings were not enough to pay for her staggering medical bills. We even moved back with my parents so that we can squeeze as much money possible out of our expenses. It was perhaps the toughest three years we have ever lived. Thankfully she is a strong woman and has since recovered. Unfortunately, in another twist of event, she was laid off from her job. After couple months of actively seeking employment without much luck, she has decided to go back to school to get her master degree as to improve her chance of employment when the economy gets better. Right now, she is taking summer classes at our local college and working part-time as well. As for me, I am juggling two jobs right now. The two of us share a desktop computer that is a bit outdated. My wife often expresses her frustration while she works on her school work because our clunker would either freeze or lag terribly after some time of use. And adding one GB of ram only improved its performance a little bit. Sadly, we couldn't afford to buy a new computer because we could barely get our ends meet every month and our debts seem to keep on growing despite our best efforts. So as you can see, winning this computer would truly be a huge blessing to our life. It would really put a big smile on her face and mine too. What a wonderful prize! Our current 8 year old desktop needs to be replaced desperately. My laptop is on its second hard-drive and defuct battery. Both systems were from the same brand and total lemons. With school coming back up next month this would be such a god-send. Lets just say I really hope to hear from you! :-) |
