  Microsoft's Kin smartphone: No, it kin't

Less than two months after they showed up in stores amid a burst of hype over their social-media capabilities, Microsoft's Kin smartphones have roamed into a dead zone. The company is scrapping the entire project, although Verizon Wireless will keep selling the Kin One and Kin Two models. Accounts of the Kin's demise pointed to the same flaws that had gotten it panned in reviews -- a lack of add-on programs and service costs no cheaper than those of far more capable smartphones.

Well, well, well..... the only thing I still cannot understand is how it is possible that MS went all the way ahead and launched it.

#3: If you ever bothered to look at it, you would see that it was pretty cool with some neat ideas. The pricing structure is what killed it.
