NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- While most of the world has yet to upgrade to Windows 7, Microsoft is gearing up to launch the next version of its PC operating system. Web forums lit up last week with the news that PC manufacturers had just gotten their hands on a new Windows 8 test build. Several analysts reported that equipment makers had received "early beta" test versions of the operating system, after trying out much more rudimentary "alpha" versions earlier in the year. |

| Win7 is very stable. Unless a major improvement is made I have no reason making the switch. |

| #5: That's what many Windows XP users, that are customers of ours, are still saying about XP, stable and they "know it". No need to change just because some other people want XP to die. Windows 7 may have a similar future of customer loyalty to it, unlike its brother Vista. |

#4. You can tell it's amateur hour at CNN Money when the title says "Windows 8 Is Coming Soon". Most would associate the term "soon" as in the next few months or so. Not 2 years.
MS has to release Win 8 prior to April 2014 to allow enough time for those Win XP holdouts to switch to Win 8 as Win XP support dies completely in April 2014. |
