Windows 8, Microsoft's attempt to unify under a single platform all end user computing devices desktop, laptop, ultrabook, tablet, smartphone arrives at a moment when the company badly needs a foothold in the most dynamic segment of that market: mobile. It'll be a pretty grand trick if Redmond can pull that off, but I'm not betting against it. |

Really? I mean... REALLY ?
I've seen nothing in "8-er-face" anywhere to tell me it has a chance against the likes of Android or iOS. This is exactly the kind of "say it until it's true" BS that gets Microsoft in trouble. Instead of listening to it's customers, it will keep chanting over and over and over again the same "we are great" stuff until it fails, then there's the inevitable press release stating the product is dead. To wit: Zune. To wit: Bob. To wit: Well, you get the point. |
