Gates Spends Entire First Day Back in Office Trying to Install Windows 8.1
Time: 20:43 EST/01:43 GMT | News Source: The New Yorker | Posted By: Robert Stein

Bill Gates’s first day at work in the newly created role of technology adviser got off to a rocky start yesterday as the Microsoft founder struggled for hours to install the Windows 8.1 upgrade. The installation hit a snag early on, sources said, when Mr. Gates repeatedly received an error message informing him that his PC ran into a problem that it could not handle and needed to restart. I am not buying this for 2 reasons:

1) I have installed Windows 8 and 8.1 on numerous and varied machines from Samsung Slates to Dells and Lenovo's to custom rigs and have never had so much as a burp.

2) Do you really think a day would be wasted on this? For those of you in large companies ask yourself if someone in Bill Gates's position would be left to fume at your company. At my company, we would have 10 people working on this and it would be fixed in no time.
