ActiveMac: Apple iPod (15GB) - Review
Time: 10:38 EST/15:38 GMT | News Source: ActiveMac | Posted By: Byron Hinson

I have posted up my review of the 15 GB model of Apple's iPod music player. Here is a snippet from the review:

I’ll admit that I have long been drooling over Apple’s iPod since the first second generation iPod came out a few years ago. The new third generation iPod came out in May this year, and I have held back on my review so that I could make sure that I used it long enough to give a fair impression of it instead of the quick reviews that came out just after its release.

Anon, that eliminates the problem of pauses but doesn't solve the problem.

I don't want one track called "50 short songs strung together." I want to be able to browse to any individual song, and I want to view info for each individual song.

I do not want to rip all songs to one track... which, even if Win users don't have iTunes yet, they too are completely capable of.

It's not huge. But when it comes to the iPod, you are talking about few flaws. If they could accomodate these few "flaws", then it would be difficult to argue with. THe fact is there is room for improvement, and hitting things like this would be fantastic.

As far as I know, no single player does this... So it would further differentiate the iPod if they could get it done.
