Doom 3 may well be now nearly 2 years old, but graphically it was so far ahead of its time once again, that we've decided to use it for our next bit of game benchmarking. The two main tests were run twice, this is because the game makes use of a caching technique that shows up some very slight stuttering when running the benchmark program, the stuttering vanishes the next time you run it. This will be the last time we make use of Doom 3 in our benchmarking before moving over to Quake 4
